clear.now Skin Care System Better Than Proactiv

Break the cycle of breakouts with the only 3-step acne treatment system utilizing patent-pending sodium chlorite combined with salicylic acid to keep pores clean, clear, and cared for.

Proactiv can be very drying to your skin. It can also miss getting some of bacteria and oil that cause breakouts.

clear.now uses sodium chlorite to attack the oil in your glands. It's chemical properties are much smaller that Benzoyl peroxide.

clear.now can also be purchased as a set or each piece individually. Last time I checked you had to buy Proactiv as a system. This can lead to bottles of product building up. I know I go through my cleanser faster than anything else in my skin care system.

Take my advice, give clear.now a try. It's 100% refundable and it's cheaper than Proactiv.

FAQs

How does the MicroExfoliation Cloth work?
Made up of ultrafine fibers, the Artistry MicroExfoliation Cloth effectively removes dead skin cells from the surface of the skin layer by fine layer. The cloth works well with Artistry Polishing Scrub, and Skin Refinishing Lotion to provide a gentle yet effective at-home alternative to Microdermabrasion.

Does the MicroExfoliation Cloth have micro beads built into it?
No, the MicroExfoliation Cloth does not have micro beads built in. However, Artistry Polishing Scrub includes spherical beads to help gently exfoliate the skin.

Does the MicroExfoliation Cloth contain some kind of built in cleanser?
The Artistry MicroExfoliation Cloth does not include a built in cleanser. The cloth is comprised of 80/20 polyester/nylon. For best results, use the cloth on a clean dry face.

How do I care for my MicroExfoliation Cloth?
Hand wash the cloth using antibacterial soap and air dry. With adequate care, the cloth should last for 3-4 months. If the cloth is not thoroughly rinsed or occasionally washed, odor may become present and thus indicate the need for a new cloth.

Can I use this cloth with any of the Artistry System Cleansers, clear.now™ Acne Treatment Wash, and Tolsom™ Cleansing Foam?
Yes, cleanse your face following your normal routine. The MicroExfoliation Cloth is recommended to be used on a clean dry face followed by your normal treatment products.

Why should I use this cloth instead of my hands or a regular wash cloth?
The Artistry MicroExfoliation Cloth provides a degree of exfoliation that is not possible with regular cleansing. Typical wash cloths are made from coarse fibers – 50 times thicker than the micro-fibers used in the Artistry MicroExfoliation Cloth. The coarse fibers of a regular wash cloth merely move over the surface of the skin. The Artistry MicroExfoliation Cloth takes exfoliating one step further by actually removing dead skin cells from the surface of the skin.

Can this cloth be used with the Artistry Intensive Repair Serum?
Yes, the Artistry MicroExfoliation Cloth can be used in conjunction with Intensive Repair Serum. However, if you choose to use both, use the MicroExfoliation Cloth in the morning and Intensive Repair Serum at night. Freshly exfoliated skin may be sensitive to the highly concentrated ingredients in Intensive Repair Serum.

Will the MicroExfoliation Cloth scratch my skin?
No, the MicroExfoliation Cloth should not cause scratching to your skin. It will gently and effectively remove the dead skin cells from the surface of your skin without causing any damage.

Why can’t I use the MicroExfoliation Cloth on broken skin?
Skin is already in a sensitive condition, therefore it is not recommended to further exfoliate these areas of the face.

What happens if I use the MicroExfoliation Cloth on the eye area?
It is not recommended to use the cloth too closely to the eye area because this is the most delicate tissue on the face. The cloth can be use under and around the eye, on the orbital bone, where fine lines may develop. It should not be applied on the eyelid or directly on the soft tissue under the eye.

What is the reason for only using the MicroExfoliation Cloth 2-3 times per week?
Skin sensitivity varies from person to person therefore the frequency of using the MicroExfoliation Cloth may vary from person to person. Incorporate this into your normal regimen gradually in order to discover what works best for your skin.

Can the MicroExfoliation Cloth be used on children’s faces? If yes, at what age?
Yes, the MicroExfoliation Cloth can be used on children 12 years and older.

Will the use of this cloth create the oil glands to produce more oils on my skin?
No. Properly cleansing and exfoliation will not increase the oil production on your skin.

Can the MicroExfoliation Cloth be used on other parts of the body?
Yes, the cloth can be used on other areas of the body to help exfoliate to smoother, softer skin.

How does this cloth enhance the efficacy of treatment products and moisturizers?
The cloth helps remove the dead skin cells from the surface of your skin so that other products such as treatment products, moisturizers, and cosmetics can perform better.

Calcium - High Quality is Vital

It's not how much calcium you take – it's how much you absorb that matters. If your age, hormone levels, diet, or exercise have reduced your body's ability to absorb calcium, try Cal Mag D.

Product Advantage

Product Advantage
Product Description

Osteoporosis is now recognized as a world-wide health problem. In fact, 1.4 million Canadians suffer from osteoporosis. It affects one in four women over 50 and one in eight men of the same age. In addition, 70% of hip fractures are osteoporosis-related, resulting in death in up to 20% of the cases, and disability in half of those who survive.*

A 3-tablet serving of Nutrilite® Cal Mag D provides the calcium equivalent of 20 ounces of milk, as well as magnesium to help regulate calcium levels. It also provides vitamin C to promote collagen formation for bone strength, Copper to help produce red blood cells and connective tissue and Zinc to help the body metabolize proteins, fats and carbohydrates.

We use 3 calcium sources and added vitamin D for greater absorption. Certified Kosher and Halal.

*Statistics taken from the Osteoporosis Society of Canada, May 2005.
**Regular exercise and a healthy diet with enough calcium help teen and young adult Caucasian and Asian women maintain good bone health and may reduce their high risk for osteoporosis later in life.

Product Benefits

A 3-tablet serving of Cal Mag D provides:

  • Vitamin C to promote the normal development and maintenance of bones, cartilage, teeth and gums.
  • Copper to help produce red blood cells and connective tissue.
  • Zinc to help the body metabolize proteins, fats and carbohydrates.

Advisories and Precautions

FAQs

We all need lots of calcium, but do some groups need more than others?
Children, teens, and young adults need the highest amounts for their growing and maturing bodies. Building good bone mass while young can have great benefits in later life. Pregnant women and nursing mothers need more to serve the needs of their babies as well as their own. Older adults need more calcium.

What is osteoporosis?
It's a condition of weak, brittle, porous bones. Osteoporosis typically afflicts older people, women somewhat more than men.

Why does Nutrilite® combine calcium with magnesium in Cal Mag D?
Both are involved in bone metabolism. Research indicates that supplementing with calcium alone can hinder the action of magnesium and vice versa. Nutrilite Cal Mag D provides a balanced combination of both minerals.

Why are there other minerals in Cal Mag D?
Copper, zinc, and manganese are included – in generous amounts – because these essential minerals are also needed to build and maintain a healthy structure.

Use Instructions

Just three months before setting a new world’s record for the 100-meter dash at the Super Grand Prix races in Athens, Greece, Asafa Powell added Double X® to his training regimen. “It was the only change I made to how I had been training,” says Powell, whose record has since been tied but not broken.

Learning

I find Blogging very interesting. I have to admit I'm a bit of a beginner. I do have a myspace blog ( http://blog.myspace.com/teamartistry) and I just created a MSN space (http://spaces.msn.com/hvdoherty/blog/) so we will see how well I do. I don't think I've started one for my yahoo page. I'll have to get to that. I think I will play around with which one I like the best and then work on that one the most. We shall see.
